my partners birthday dinner! After burning toast that
morning, I knew making dinner was not a great idea.
My call came through from the Haute Foodie and she made
a special dinner for the evening and my sweeties birthday
was great! I was able to focus on her and not the details

I grew up helping my Norwegian mother cook amazing meals
for our family. She taught me that good food comes from love,
and love can sometimes come from good food! As a result, I
have been a life-long foodie.
In 2006 I graduated with honors from South Seattle Community
College's renowned food science program. I am nationally accredited
with the American Culinary Federation, ServSafe certified
and a trained nutritionist. So, whether you're in the mood
for some haute cuisine with complex characteristics, or a
down-home meal like mom used to make, I can deliver!
I have worked in some of Washington's best restaurants including
Cafe Flora,
Carmelita,
Endolyne
Joe's and the Doe
Bay Cafe on Orcas Island.
I specialize in alternative diets responding to your needs
as a vegetarian, a person with food sensitivities, or someone
with low-fat or low-carb meal requirements. I find special
requirements an opportunity and a challenge to cater to my
client's needs in a way that is both delicious and satisfying.
In my spare time, I love eating great food (honestly), traveling
abroad and tasting the foods of the world with my partner
of over 6 years, Rebecca.
I also love walking my pug/poodle mix dog, Bella, through
Washington's beautiful outdoors, foraging for the delicious
foods that Mother Nature provides to us.
